GMA President, Cornelius Griggs and Superintendent, John Black were both in attendance for the Crescent Halls Renovation Kickoff Ceremony. This project is a $17.5M complete renovation of a 105-unit Senior Facility in Charlottesville, VA. This award stands as the single largest public housing construction contract awarded to an African American firm in the City of Charlottesville. Under the leadership of its Mayor Nikuyah Walker, Charlottesville has made great strides to change the narrative. The investment in Public Housing lead by and constructed by African Americans is the first step in creating a new history in Charlottesville that’s inclusive of all Americans. Congrats to all that were involved over the last 3 years in making this happen.
